General Advice
Once at Narita Airport (Japan) several transport options are available to get to Hakuba. These options range from catching a shared taxi, taking a ride on the famous Bullet train (Shinkansen) or one of a variety of reliable coach services.
Traveling to Japan can be quite a difficult experience for non-Japanese speakers. The Japanese are friendly people, but the language barrier can cause a lot of confusion. We recommend visitors pre-book as much as they can. Take away some of the confusion and uncertainty by planning your trip through us. Our staff include native Japanese - English speakers, and English speakers that have lived in Japan for a number of years.
We also recommend you travel with a good supply of the local currency. Banks that change traveler's cheques, ATMs that accept foreign cards, places to exchange money and restaurants that accept credit cards are becoming more wide spread, however it is best not to be caught unprepared.
